"Karikaas makes good cheese, very good cheese!" That is a common comment from those that know our cheese.

Others say that is not doing it justice and it can only be described as excellent. I suppose you can't argue with that. We did after all win the Supreme Champion of Champions Cheese at the NZ Cheese Awards 2005. (Best Cheese in New Zealand 2005)

Cows milk, largely from one farm, together with a hands on process refined over 20 years, allows the attention to detail needed to make outstanding cheeses. Hand turned and aged they can be from 2 months to over 2 years old.
